AusMumpreneur Conference & Awards 2023
Every year, many events transpire in the life of an entrepreneur that are significant. But for me, the AusMumpreneur Conference & Awards holds a unique place in my heart. This event celebrates entrepreneurs and offers a platform for introspection and growth. Here’s how this special conference has influenced me over the past year:
1. A Time for Reflection
Being an entrepreneur is a whirlwind journey. Days meld into nights, and sometimes, amidst all the hustle, we forget to pause and appreciate our own achievements. The AusMumpreneur Conference & Awards was that much-needed pause button for me. It allowed me to reflect on our business's progress, the challenges we overcame, and the successes we attained. It was a moment of realisation about how far we've come and the milestones we’ve achieved.
2. The Honour of Being a Finalist
When I found out that I was a finalist, it was nothing short of exhilarating. It's not just about the recognition but also the validation of the hard work. Being nominated amongst such a talented group of mumpreneurs was indeed a privilege, and it added a feather to our business’s cap.
3. Stepping into the Judge’s Shoes
One of the highlights for me was being a judge. Listening to the narratives of the finalists was both inspiring and humbling. Each story was a testament to resilience and passion. Being a judge was not only about evaluation but also about learning and drawing inspiration from these incredible journeys.
4. A New Chapter: My Book
From last year’s AusMumpreneur conference to this year conference Women Changing the World Press offer this unique opportunities to be part of an anthology. My book is called Ignite. Writing my chapter and being a published author still swells my heart with pride.
5. The Joy of Signing My Book
One of the most surreal moments post-authoring a book is when you get to sign it. At the conference, I will get the chance to do just that. Interacting with readers, signing the copies, and hopefully seeing the spark in their eyes
6. Taking the Stage as a Speaker
The conference also gave me an opportunity to be a speaker , I will be on the stage with my fellow co-authors from Ignite. I look forward to being part of this panel.
To every Ausmumpreneur out there, this conference is a testament to our collective spirit, and I am incredibly proud to be a part of this vibrant community.
