It begins all the way back in the year 2008

Our story

It all began as an idea. Well, more of a frustration.

Having worked separately in the IT industry for over twenty years, husband and wife; Peter Emmanouilidis and Leisha Major came to the same conclusion.

Businesses are not getting the best out of their IT!

They could both see in their respective roles that businesses were finding it too hard to get a good IT person who could meet all their requirements.

Peter was frustrated. He was working in the business of others and knowing he could offer so much more. He could foresee with the growth of cyber and online business, that there was going to be a significant for smart, strategically planned IT infrastructure and the people and platforms to be able to support it.

So, upon meeting the dazzling Leisha, a lover of all things IT, he knew he’d found his partner in life and work.

Together, they founded The POP Team in 2008 to explore better ways to manage IT for businesses. They knew that they rocked the IT space and could really take charge for their customers.

Their mission; to create a business that prides itself on family values, innovation and connection. To build relationships beyond the day-to-day of IT and to provide long-term support to all customers. POP!

Put simply, the POP team exist to make IT work for growing businesses.

They have now welcomed an additional seven people with complementary skills covering IT strategy, architecture, engineering, support and change management to their team.
